Emailing Your Presentations from the Actions Panel

MoxiPresent makes it easy to send a completed presentation to your customers.  By sending a web version of the presentation, you can make updates to the presentation after you send it out and it will reflect in what the customer sees the next time they open the link. 

You can send your completed presentation to your customer directly from the Actions Panel on the MoxiPresent homepage.

1. From the MoxiPresent homepage, select Actions for the presentation you would like to email, then select email (see below).
   
2.  Enter in the necessary information 
   
   1. Select Presentation Format(s):Send web presentation, PDF Portrait or Landscape, or any combination of the three.
   2. To: Add the email address (you can send to more than one)
      1. NOTE: if also using MoxiEngage, begin typing in the first three letters of your person or group name, and select them from the drop-down menu.
      2. Subject: Be sure to include an email subject so your customer knows what they are opening.
   3. Greeting: Customize your greeting. Example, Hello, Jane. (this is optional)
   4. Message: Include a message to your customer (this is optional)
   5. Send a copy to myself: Know the email was successfully sent by getting a copy of it in your own inbox.
   6. Send: The final step to sending your presentation.

If the presentation has no pages, you will be unable to email the presentation.

If you use Moxi Engage, and you email this presentation to one of your MoxiEngage contacts, it will show in the activity feed of their profile.

 Communication Consent for Canadian Users

Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation requires you to obtain and document consent for all commercial electronic messages (CEMs). You are responsible for storing your own consent documentation. For more information, refer to https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/.

When emailing a presentation to your customer you will need to take additional steps to make sure you are in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). 

1. To: Add the email address (you can send to more than one)
   1. NOTE: if also using MoxiEngage, begin typing in the first three letters of your person or group name, and select them from the drop-down menu.
2. Check for Consent
   1. If you have added consent information for this person already (see - Managing Communication Consent for Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation), you will see Consent Approved display automatically (see below)

1. 1. If one or more names have not already been approved, you will need to add consent for each person name not already approved.
      
      
      
2. Provide consent if needed
   
   
   
   1. Implied Consent: This person submitted their information to you through the regular action of your business. Example: This person filed out a form and included their email address. Note: This type of consent expires automatically after 6 months.
   2. Express Consent: Consent given to you directly by this person.
   3. Personal Relationship: You are exempt from indicating consent.
   4. Need Consent: Skip this person for now until you have consent to communicate.
3. Select Save
   
4. Follow the same steps as above (2 b-h), add a subject, greeting, and message. Then select Send
